Last year, I started buying a dish or place-setting of Centennial Rose with the ultimate goal to end up with 6+ place-settings. Over Memorial Day weekend, I headed to the Royal Doulton outlet near my house. As I was driving to the outlet, I chatted with my dear Aunt Faye who told me if I found a great deal she would give me money to purchase it as my birthday present. Needless to say, I found a great sale-- all servingware and accent pieces were 50% off. I ended up with two accent plates (see picture), which helped me complete three place-settings. Yeah! I always knew I had a very special aunt! And now, I have a two plates that will forever have special meaning! Thanks, Aunt Faye!

Early Birthday for Me!
